Welcome! To ensure an effective working relationship, please take the time to read through this coaching agreement to understand what to expect and what’s expected of you. After reading, please submit the form found at the end of this page to indicate that you understand and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
Description of Coaching (from the International Coaching Federation): Coaching is a partnership (defined as an alliance, not a legal business partnership) between the Coach and the Client in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the client to maximize personal and professional potential. It is designed to facilitate the creation/development of personal, professional or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy/plan for achieving those goals.
Coaching and these programs are offered as powerful tools to support you to cultivate a dynamic relationship to yourself. It is highly transformative in nature and will help you to understand yourself as the source of your experience, to identify and break up old patterns and to cultivate new ways of being, as well as, new skills and capacities.
Coaching does not treat severe emotional distress such as serious depression, PTSD or personality disorders. If you are experiencing any of these things, I encourage you instead to pursue more traditional treatment routes instead, such as psychotherapy and/or medical treatment. If you are already in treatment for a psychological problem, I ask that you inform your therapist that you are participating in the coaching program, as it could dramatically alter your current outlook on life.
You Are Responsible For Your Life! You understand that change takes time and action on your part. You are responsible for any and all actions taken as a result of our sessions. You agree to hold me harmless and indemnify me for any damages incurred by you directly or indirectly as a result of coaching. I make no representation, guarantee, or warranty that the coaching or group sessions you are contracting for will work for you in your particular circumstances.
Confidentiality: As part of coaching, I will find out personal information relating to you. This information will never be disclosed to any third party without your consent, barring a court order.
Concerns: If anything occurs between us at any time that concerns you or doesn't feel right, please inform me. My goal is to have an open, authentic, trusting partnership with you. It is your responsibility to let me know of anything that you feel isn’t working or could be working better so that we can adjust accordingly.
Payments:
Coaching Packages: For first time clients, 100% of the coaching package is due at the time of confirmation. Other payment arranges are available (monthly payment, 50% deposit, etc) after our initial agreement. This is to support you to show up fully and completely at the start of our time. You are beginning a new habit and I have found it helps clients immensely to put skin in the game at the start of our engagement.
Group Experiences: Payment in full is due to confirm your spot in the group.
Deep Dive Journeys: A 30% deposit is due to confirm. Payment in full is due 30 days prior to ceremony dates.
Canceled Sessions:
Coaching Clients: Please give as much notice as possible for cancelled sessions. This allows others to take your time slot and respects my time as well.
Cancellation 24 hours or less will result in the loss of your session.
Failure to show up for your appointment will be billed as a full session.
Late for a Session: It is in your interest to arrive on time. The session begins at the allotted time booked, regardless of the time you arrive. Punctuality supports the structure, content and value of a session.
Groups Experiences: No refunds will be given for missed dates. Pending the other participants agreement, we will send you a recording of the missed session.
Deep Dive Journeys: No refunds will be given for missed group coaching sessions. Pending the other participants agreement, we will send you a recording of the missed session.
For ceremony costs, each ceremony has different guidelines. I will send the specifics for your ceremony prior to your booking. Please refer to that email.
Termination of Agreement: This agreement can be terminated with a week’s notice if both parties have discussed and agreed to the termination. All payments for coaching / group sessions delivered up until the date of termination shall be paid in full. You are released of any obligation to pay the remaining fees beyond the date of termination.
For Personal Coaching + Group Experiences: You are afforded no more than 2 missed sessions (i.e. no communication no shows). Our agreement will be terminated after 2 missed sessions. You will not be eligible for a refund. Your presence and communication are vital to an effective working relationship.
